Haven’t “blogged” in a while!
Can’t believe September is here already! Summer was busy-started a new job and was away the month of July for training. August was busy too with moving into our new house. Now that things have settled down I wanted to share some recent photos. I recently took photos of humans too! Congratulations to Lynn and Jason on their engagement and allowing me to capture their engagement photos! Included in this post is a picture of the beautiful Cat Q-tip who has recently gone to kitty heaven after battling a terrible illness, thank goodness for people like Shauna K who devote so much of their time to the livelihood of animals.
Coming up soon is the Burlington Humane Society’s Ruff Ride fundraiser event (September 19th) and photos with Santa days; both of which i’ll be photographing.
Nickey & Kosmo
DOGS // For those of you who are dog enthusiasts come out to Pawlooza 2010 in London Ontario on August 21st. I’ll be taking photos that day!
Visit their site pawlooza.com to find out more info and you can check out the sponsors section and see my logo!
MUSIC // For those of you who love music come out to Rocking the ‘Stead on August 21st in Cambridge Ontario starting at 7pm. I won’t be photographing animals that night but it should be fun anyhow! http://www.fiddlesticks.ca
CHARITY // The Burlington Humane Society is putting on an event called The “Ruff” Ride on September 19th. It’s a motorcycle bike ride through Burlington followed by a BBQ. I’ll be taking pictures of the event, so hopefully we’ll have some great fall weather that day! http://www.burlingtonhumane.com
I guess I’m just a proud mama, but here are some recent shots I took of my kitty Kosmo. He is shaping up to be a wonderful companion. He follows us everywhere we go and watching him fall asleep upside down is always hilarious. He is loving his new home. He hangs out in the window all day (I can tell because there is cat hair all over my curtains!) Every time he gives me kisses I think I can read his mind, pretty sure he’s saying “thanks for adopting me.”
